The open care unit is looking for a new colleague!

The Child and Youth Unit consists of an authority group and our open care, Gnistan and Ankaret. Gnistan focuses on parents and children, while Ankaret is more directed towards youth. In the authority group, we have specialized functions for reception, foster homes, family law, investigating social workers, and senior social workers.

We are now looking for a family therapist for our open care, which currently consists of seven employees, four of whom are family therapists, one youth therapist, and two social workers who work outreach in the field. The open care has its own premises adapted to its activities. This position will be based at Gnistan.

The work largely consists of assignments from social workers both during investigations and when a service is granted after the investigation is completed or as a service without a support decision according to the new Social Services Act. Working with change processes in families is an important part of the job. Additionally, family therapists work with various support programs aimed at parents, children, or youth and also have an important function during transitions from foster homes and HVB. Collaboration with other agencies and partners is part of the work. As a family therapist, you primarily work during the day, but since the assignments are based on the needs of the families, it may mean that you sometimes need to work evenings and weekends.

In your daily work, you will receive support and supervision from the senior social worker.

QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in Social Work. Therapeutic training equivalent to step 1 is desirable.

Experience in family therapy with children, youth, and parents is a requirement. It is an advantage if you have experience with various methods and/or models such as Tryggare barn, Trappan, FFT, ABC, MI, BBIC, etc.

We want you to be someone who easily builds relationships and collaborates well with the families you meet, as well as colleagues and partners both internally and externally. You have a good ability to reflect and are humble in the face of families' varying life circumstances. You have a positive demeanor and are good at inspiring and motivating others. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

A driving license for a manual car is a requirement.

A criminal record extract is required for employment.
